On April 19, 2018, CfA filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) against U.S. Senator Mike Crapo (R-ID) and Vicki Hart, the lobbyist owner of a Washington, D.C. condominium, for failing to disclose improper in-kind contributions, in apparent violation of the Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA) and FEC regulations.

Public Interest Groups File Amended FEC Complaint Against Russian Government and Trump Campaign

Free Speech For People and Campaign for Accountability filed an amended complaint with the Federal Election Commission demanding “an immediate investigation” into whether the Russian government illegally spent money to influence the 2016 presidential election, in possible coordination with the Trump campaign.
